As Cowens Financial Planning continues to grow we're looking for an experienced financial planner who shares our ethos.

If your focus is on helping clients towards worry-free financial freedom, you could become an employed adviser within our planning team.

We don't prioritise product sales, investment returns or technical jargon.

Rather, recognising that individual and family futures depend on the right financial choices, our aim is to provide reassurance to our clients at every stage of their financial life journey.

We listen and seek to understand what matters most to them, to build ongoing personal relationships based on trust, integrity and transparency.

If you share those values, this is an exciting opportunity to work with our existing personal and corporate clients, as well as developing new business to build our client portfolio.

Are you with us?

You'll need to:

Be Level 4 qualified, ideally working towards Level
Be passionate about what you do and the people you advise.
Have experience of successfully building trusted relationships in an advisory role.
Demonstrate not only strong technical ability but interpersonal skills that put clients at ease.
Be a good listener. To best help our clients you need to hear and understand them, then assimilate the facts to shape a bespoke financial plan.
Be clear and sincere, able to communicate complex information in a way that is easy to understand.
Be confident in your own abilities but equally able to follow process and be a positive team player.
Have experience of winning new client relationships.
Possibly (though not essential) have experience providing advice in the area of Employee Benefits.

Be part of our friendly, experienced advisory, technical and admin team. We will help you to understand our beliefs and processes to make your transition as smooth as possible.

- 'Work smart'. Whilst the role is office based, after a successful induction period, we can facilitate an element of hybrid remote working. Hours are Monday to Friday, no weekends.

An established process to support your service and advice delivery, backed by admin and paraplanning support.
Lead sources for new client opportunities, alongside those you build.
