The Role:
What you will do?

We are looking for 2 experienced Clinical CBT Supervisors to provide clinical supervision to High Intensity CBT therapists, deliver therapy to patients presenting with common mental health problems and support our clinical leads to drive and implement service clinical development and objectives.

This role is full time, based within our Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Talking Therapies service. This role will be a mixture of based within the LLR TT service and remote.


You will be responsible for:

  • Providing and supervising high intensity CBT interventions recommended by NICE to clients with mild to moderate common Mental Health Disorders.
  • Delivering a supervision model that incorporates aspects of both case management and clinical supervision
  • As part of this role you will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities

Your skills and background:


Essential:

  • Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma) or other Post Graduate CBT training course.
  • IAPT recognised supervision qualification and experience of supervising
  • 2 years postqualification experience
  • Accreditation with the BABCP
  • An awareness of and be committed to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

Desirable:

  • Qualified to deliver the following:
  • EMDR, Interpersonal Psychological Therapy, IAPT Couples therapy for depression
  • BABCP supervisor accredited
  • Experience working in a service where agreed targets in place demonstrating clinical outcomes
  • Knowledge of iaptus
