As a Barclays Account Manager, you will be playing an integral part in driving sales for Transaction Banking products as well other product through referrals.
Your role is focused on displaying a customer-centric approach in managing the client base and portfolio to ensure the day-to-day requirements are met.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to showcase your experience in working with Senior management teams and deliver on their strategic business needs.

Working Flexibly
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in.
What will you be doing?:
- Identifying and managing solutions to meet a wide range of client needs
- Acting as the named point of contact for their clients and maintaining regular, proactive contact and replying swiftly to client queries and questions
- Playing an integral part in achieving the Corporate Bank income plan through the sale of Transactional Banking products to a specified group of clients
- Guaranteeing that our clients have access to the best possible service that Barclays can offer
- Developing relationships with other parts of the bank to help with delivering highclass services to clients
- Ensuring client's needs are met in relation to credit/working capital facilities using sound commercial judgement
- Classifying clients we cannot serve within Barclays Corporate on a profitable basis and escalating to the Head of Account Managers
What we're looking for:
- Exceptional selling and negotiation skills to back Relationship and portfolio management
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Credit Risk experience and comprehension
- Detailed knowledge and experience of Transaction Banking Products and Solutions
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Excellent relationship skills
- Selfmotivated with exceptional time management skills
- Solid IT skills, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Customer service focus and attention to detail
Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford.
The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
