Description
M&J Group are recruiting for a delivery driver to join their team.


Your key responsibilities would be:

  • Forklift driving, so a licence would be preferable but not essential (training will be available)
  • Site Setup taking receipt of deliveries and storage containers/skips
  • Deliver materials from the yard in Bedford to various sites, to ensure continuity of supplies for site operatives
  • Clear site on completion of works of any excess materials and equipment, then restock

Towing licence required for Trailer & Mechanical Hoist with proven experience

Challenges:

  • Most of your time at work will be spent alone but you are very much part of the M&JTeam
  • The Great British weather working outside
  • Be willing to put in the hours to achieve site deliveries, this will consist of some early starts and potential late finishes

Skills & Experience:

  • Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
  • Can do attitude with a desire to consistently exceed our customers' expectations
  • You must enjoy working alone for long periods of time
  • Have proven experience in doing long distance driving

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£15.00-£20.00 per hour

  • Driving: 1 year (required)
