Maintaining and managing IBM Netcool & SevOne platforms.
Delivering integrated Network monitoring solutions across multiple technologies.
Reporting on critical network compliance and availability.
Interface to Network and Operational Teams to support their monitoring requirements.
Create reporting for troubleshooting and capacity planning.
Ensuring processes and procedures are followed.

What you'll bring.

CCNA or equivalent in routing & switching.
IBM Certified associate in Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus V8.
Proven experience administering IBM Netcool Operations Insight.
Strong background supporting UNIX, Linux & Windows operating systems.
Advanced understanding of protocols including TCP/IP, SNMP.
Knowledge of html, cgi, Java and xml.

It would also be nice for you to have.

Confident troubleshooting knowledge using TCP Dumps, PCAP files.
Working knowledge of security network technologies including firewall, proxy, IPS, WAF, VPN.
Automation skills using Python, Ansible, Rundeck, Postman, Terraform.

What else you need to know.
A hybrid role with a requirement to attend site in Milton Keynes 2 days per week.

This opportunity has exposure to a large enterprise consisting of traditional and software defined WAN, Campus and Data Centre network infrastructure across Private and Public domains.

A hybrid of network technology operating systems supporting high throughput workloads across the organisation and to our customers 24/7 365.

As part of the role, you will be asked to participate in the 24/7 Technical On Call Rota as well as working out of hours to support changes.

Eligible for a discretionary performancerelated annual bonus
We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don't contribute yourself. We'll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer
30 days' holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5yrs service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year
