KME are an internal MEP self-delivery business within the Kier group, supporting the internal regional businesses across the UK and the Strategic Projects business on complex and challenging projects that range from £5m to £140m.

The business has a full design, construct and commissioning capability.

The business has been operating for over 50 years with a track record for delivering on developing staff, repeat business and successful projects.


Responsibilities
The role will report to the MEP Commercial Manager Director and have the full responsibility for managing all Cost plans commercial items regarding the MEP Services delivery of the mechanical services supported by and electrical biased across multiple London projects delivering to high standards on the following items:

  • Benchmarking Processes
  • Accurate Cost planning from Stage 2 Information through to Stage 4 Information.
  • Setting up and maintaining simple and complex benchmarking data
  • Identification and costing of project specific costs
  • Production of cost plans from elemental, hybrid to package detailed formats.


As a senior team member in this self-delivery business, integration and collaborative working with other Kier Businesses is essential along with supporting, implementing and compliance with Kier's SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, Commercial Standards, and Kier Group's best practices.


Who are we looking for?

  • Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence, and happy to travel and work from Basingstoke office 1 day a week.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with clients, customers and suppliers key stakeholders
  • Experienced in Cost Planning projects across the UK and of varying MEP values from £5 Million to £150 Million.
  • Experienced in Cost planning across multiple sectors including Education, Commercial, Science, Healthcare, Defence and Blue Light.
  • High level of competence in digital construction methods and tools
