Onebright is seeking a Lead Tester on a 9-month fixed term contract, to assist us in shaping our software test function.

You will be instrumental in improving the cadence of our incremental releases and enabling a cohesive testing approach on our project work.

Key responsibilities:

Improve our endtoend testing processes
Run the testing team on a daytoday basis (no line management)
Mentor the testing team to improve its practices based on tried and tested experience.
Manage the testing cycle for our incremental releases, ensuring that potentially impacted parts of the system are tested thoroughly
Manage the testing strategy for our longerlived project releases, considering the testing per functional area in a holistic manner
Introduce and document standards across the testing team

Qualifications and Experience:

You are a selfstarter and handson; a good team player who thrives in an openculture, fastpaced environment
You have at least 10years' experience in system testing, with no less than 5 of those as a Lead or similar in a contractor role, where you have been exposed to a diversity of different environments
You're comfortable talking at all levels of the business whilst being able to adapt your communication style depending on your audience
Preferably you've got a good technical understanding with the ability to hold complex technical discussions
Preferably you'll have experience working on a custom, asynchronous workflowdriven system
Ideally, you'll have experience working with UI based automation testing, specifically working with screen recording tools
