Moulton Chapel is a 'good' school and has fantastic children.

We are looking to appoint a highly committed teaching assistant who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and a team-player to work as part of our Key Stage 1 team.

The role will primarily be to provide support and provision to a busy and dynamic mixed aged Key Stage 1 class (R/Y1/Y2), but could lead to providing support in Key Stage 2 also.


We have high expectations, and the staff and children are always striving to become the best we can be You would be joining a friendly team of 4 teachers (including the headteacher) and 6 TAs in this small, rural primary school.

We value our family atmosphere and the support of our pupils' families and the local community.

  • Experience of working with children within Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1;
  • Experience of using an SSP scheme
  • Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is used by school;
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with the physical demands of the job;
  • The ability to work in a calm, supportive and caring manner;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • The ability to deliver learning support planned by the teacher to either groups or individuals;
  • Have knowledge of using Tapestry to record children's learning journeys;
Visits to the school may be possible.
