Marketing & Communications Assistant - Head Office, Marian House, 3 Colton Mill, Bullerthorpe Lane, Colton, Leeds LS15 9JN**The role is Monday-Friday, 8.30-5pm and will be primarily based at our Head Office in Leeds - £24,000 per annum

Marketing & Communications Assistant.

The Ideal role _**The Marketing & Comms Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager and upon return from mat leave, the Marketing Executive, to support digital and print marketing campaigns to a consistently high standard attracting potential new residents.

The Marketing & Comms Assistant will be involved in the campaigns every step of the way, from initial ideas to design, execution and analysis.


The Marketing & Comms Assistant is key in supporting our 36 homes with any collateral requirements they may have including banners, flyers, brochures and social graphics.

They will liaise with designers and print suppliers to ensure timely delivery and there will also be some internal design work so previous experience of InDesign would be advantageous.

The Marketing & Comms Assistant will also assist in the management of our social channels across all platforms and may be required to help with the planning and execution of events within the care homes.


They will be dynamic and enthusiastic with a commitment to excellence, thrive in a busy environment and be willing to take on new challenges.


Other key skills required are:

  • Ability to manage timescales and workloads effectively, balancing lots of different projects at once, prioritise and deliver to given deadlines
  • Extremely focused with an eye for detail and the ability to maintain a very high level of accuracy
  • Communicate well to a range of people including coworkers, customers and suppliers to build and maintain relationships both face to face and on the telephone
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a clear and concise writing style
  • Organised and resourceful with the ability to multitask and use initiative
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and confidence using new CRM systems
  • Previous InDesign, Canva and social media marketing experience would be desirable
  • A team player, reliable, versatile, and responsive to change
  • Some travel to care homes and other locations will be required.
