A vacancy has arisen for a Medical Secretary to join the General Surgery & Colorectal team.

The General Surgery/ Colorectal service are always under high demand and the post holder will have to have good organisation and prioritisation skills supporting the team.

This post holder would be expected to provide a full secretarial support to the department.

They would be expected to have a confident and professional attitude, as well as a good telephone manner and word processing skills.

A good background knowledge of the NHS is essential. Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
