The Team
The Real Estate transactional team deal with some of the UK's largest and most high-profile deals acting for developers, investors, funders and major occupiers across a number of sectors.
We are keen to appoint an experienced Associate to join our established Real Estate Transactional team In London.
Responsibilities
- Assisting partners and senior colleagues in the acquisition and disposal of commercial real estate assets.
- The asset management of individual properties and portfolios including the granting of agreements for lease, leases and licences, lease renewals and rent reviews.
- Supporting our colleagues in the corporate department on the real estate aspects of corporate transactions
- Assisting on large scale portfolio transactions including dealing with certificates of title.
- High levels of client contact and client liaison responsibilities.
Key Skills & Experience
- Qualified solicitor with 02 years post qualification experience in real estate transactional matters including Landlord and Tenant matters.
- Qualification from another wellknown real estate firm with at least one 6 month seat in the real estate department during traineeship
- Relevant 'handson' work experience and client management skills.
- Good knowledge of English Land Law and Landlord and Tenant law.
- Previous experience of acting for investor clients and corporate occupiers on Landlord and Tenant matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound time/case management skills.
- Positive mindset and capable of working well with colleagues at all levels.
