This post is responsible for processing a high volume of supplier invoices for payment via virtual card payment solution for a high profile Conference customer.


The role incorporates a high level of accuracy and judgement, excellent customer service and supplier liaison, within a fast-paced office environment.

What you'll be doing:


  • To accurately process and pay supplier Invoices and comply with client reporting requirements.
  • Ensure completion of annual online mandatory training on data protection, information security and financial crime. Develop understanding of cyber risk and threat by reading and engaging in communications and awareness training from the business.
  • Responsible for understanding and upholding the information security policies
  • To check and validate supplier incoming invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices against conference and group accommodation bookings using the booking tool, checking details such as VAT, commission rates and invoice line items.
  • O btain ing additional approval for booking spend should spend threshold s be exceeded.
  • To manage and input booking data from the booking tool in to various f inance spreadsheets and into Virtual Card system including authorisation codes in line with customer requirements.
  • To manage Permission levels for the Virtual card system and submit the virtual card request through Virtual Card API
  • To deploy Virtual Card to supplier in a PCI compliant manner
  • Align with PwC Prompt payment practice and t o ensure supplier invoices are paid to terms following all validations and reconciliations
  • To ensure supplier invoices are paid to terms following all validations and reconciliations
  • To support the virtual card approval process.
  • To update and maintain the Virtual Card system for statement cut off dates and reporting
  • Daily processing reconciliation if required and statement reconciliation
  • Customer statement reconciliation support using the Virtual Card system within PwC financial service level agreements investigating and reconciling any exception
  • Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
  • To provide Journal report ing and support to PwC finance service team with enquiries
  • Duties include month end and year end processes
  • Audit support
  • Adhoc Reporting as required
  • To support projects which impact the wider PwC Team

What we're looking for:


  • Deliver service excellence through accuracy, quality and commitment.
  • Have an awareness of data format within the Conference and Virtual Card systems
  • Have an understanding of the GL Coding requirements as per Customer guidelines
  • Be responsible for the Virtual Card system functions
  • Have an awareness of system interaction with the Card Supplier, business and customer Finance systems
  • To highlight service, process and policy compliance opportunities
  • Support to improve the operating procedures and systems you use and be adaptable to chang e
