What You Will Do:
- Conducting laboratory tests to complete project requests
- Project management
- Technical report writing
- Database management
- Screening and/or assisting with product qualifications
- Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory
- Maintaining calibration records for equipment
- Implement and follow company safety practices
- Use COSHH and Risk assessments for all chemicals and tasks performed in the lab and maintaining tests protocols.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related field
- Experience working in a laboratory
- Experience keeping laboratory records
- Experience writing technical reports
Physical Demands:
Long periods of standing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing DNA extraction
- Experience with genomics and bioinformatics
- Experience quantifying bacterial cells
- Experience maintaining cell cultures
