ChampionX has an immediate need for a temporary
Microbiologist located in

What You Will Do:

Conducting laboratory tests to complete project requests
Project management
Technical report writing
Database management
Screening and/or assisting with product qualifications
Maintaining cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory
Maintaining calibration records for equipment
Implement and follow company safety practices
Use COSHH and Risk assessments for all chemicals and tasks performed in the lab and maintaining tests protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology or related field
Experience working in a laboratory
Experience keeping laboratory records
Experience writing technical reports

Physical Demands:

Long periods of standing

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience performing DNA extraction
Experience with genomics and bioinformatics
Experience quantifying bacterial cells
Experience maintaining cell cultures
