Description

Due to an increase in pupil numbers and retirement of a long serving member of staff, a number of positions have become available.

These include full time, part time, permanent and fixed term positions.

We can consider a range of working patterns (days and hours).

Duckmanton Primary School is a modern semi-rural school situated in an old mining village on the edge of Chesterfield. There are approximately 200 children on roll, including a nursery and 2 year old provision.

The role will involve supporting children in and out of the classroom, in small groups or 1-2-1.

We pride ourselves on forming supportive relationships with our children.

You will need to be committed to your own professional development, have a calm manner and a passion and commitment to encouraging children to achieve the best of their ability.

You should be able to work as part of a team and show willingness to adopt a flexible approach to work undertaken.

Experience in a similar role is preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided.

It is expected that the member of staff will contribute fully to the life of this happy nurturing school.
