Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced
Senior Healthcare Assistant (Days) to support a bright and intelligent young man in Sidmouth with a spinal injury.

He's a great guy who is able to clearly articulate what he needs. He's a smoker and requires assistance with that and bowel care is part of the care requirements. Join our amazing team and help us make a real difference.
You will be working 1-2-1 for a minimum of 7 hours. Longer shifts available (see below).

You need to be a seasoned carer with a solid understanding of personal care and moving & handling. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses.

It is not essential that you have specific experience in spinal injury as you will receive comprehensive training and support.

Shifts are 7am-2pm or 2pm-9pm (It is possible to do long days) *Lone working

Pay rates:

£12.72 p/hr Monday-Friday:

-
£15.85 p/hr Saturday-Sunday

It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum of 4 shifts (28 hours p/week).

You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available.

Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.

Full mileage paid from home to this location in Sidmouth up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.

While there are lots of work opportunities within Ocean Healthcare, the terms detailed in this job advert are specific ONLY to this package of care.

Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.

You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
