It's an exciting time in Health Informatics as the EPR Programme is now embarking on a number of significant digital transformation projects which will enable the Trust to realise its strategic ambitions for the establishment of an integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) across the Acute, Community and Primary Care settings.

As well as the developing focus for the establishment of a Acute EPR we have a range of key digital projects that support this work; i.e.

the establishment of an Electronic Document Management Solution [EDMS], Electronic Prescribing [EPMA] and Nexus redevelopments.

Consequently the EPR Programme is looking to recruit a suitably experienced and qualified individuals to undertake a number roles which will enable the Trust's EPR ambitions to be realised.


The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Digital Programme Team and ensure the effective organisation of commitments across the full range of duties.

This will involve liaising as appropriate with multi-disciplinary teams across the Fylde Coast in order to arrange meetings and to ensure that documentation and minutes are correctly filed and distributed.

This support will provide continuity of standards across all projects.


The post holder will develop and maintain a knowledge base for all aspects of project management and act as a central source of expertise in specialist support tools.

To support the current phase, the Trust is looking to recruit 2 Project Administrators (Band 5) to work within the Health Informatics Programme, one on a permanent contract and one on a 12 month secondment or fixed term contract.
