Key Accountabilities
To deliver against agreed contractual KPIs and departmental strategic objectives
To recruit young people on to the NCS programme
Engage with young people and their Parents/Guardians wishing to participate on the NCS programme
Act as the main point of contact with Young People and Parent/Guardians.
To support the Head of Education in the management of expenditure and budgets
Embed the Programme Quality Framework into all recruitment, engagement and delivery activities.
To ensure all delivery is high quality, engaging and provides the best experience for participants
To understand and manage your own performance against contractual KPIs
To ensure all administrative documents as per NCS contractual requirements are up to date and submitted in a timely manner
To support in the recruitment, training and supervision of seasonal delivery staff (if applicable).
To develop and maintain relationships with local voluntary organisations to support young people on Social Action Project (if applicable).
To understand and comply with the safeguarding of young people, staff, the NCS contract and the organisation.
To establish and carry out the relevant administration, prepare reports, undertake research, provide briefings and attend team meetings as necessary.
To maintain and develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
To ensure compliance with all Barnsley FC Community Trust Policies and Procedures across all areas of work
To represent Barnsley FC Community Trust in a professional manner and consistent with Core Values
To undertake training and CPD as necessary and relevant to the post.
To generally assist in any tasks required in the operation of Barnsley FC
Community Trust as directed by the HEAD OF FOUNDATION
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in relevant field or youth work qualification

Safeguarding Qualification(s)

First Aid Qualification
(E)
Working with young people between 15 and 17
(E)
Understanding of how to engage and encourage young people to achieve NCS related outcomes
(E)
Understanding and undertaking risk assessments
(E)
Ability to develop and maintain appropriate administrative systems for monitoring and evaluation purposes
(E)
Good ICT skills and the ability to use ICT in an educational setting.
(E)
A "can do" attitude with evidence of leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate others to reach their full potential.
(E)
Excellent Organisational Skills in order to plan and deliver NCS
(E)
Lead and inspire cohorts of young people
(E)
Liaising and developing relationships with external partners and agencies including schools and colleges
(E)
Recruitment and meeting of number based KPI's for contract requirements
(E)
Working with young people in community settings
(E)
Ability to think creatively, problem solve and work on work initiative
(E)
Knowledge of NCS programme
(D)
Ability to differentiate activities and materials
(D)
Experience in implementing social action projects
(D)
Experience in using a data management system such as Salesforce
(D)
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Pay:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
