Our Background


The Change is an Innovation Consultancy company which is looking for a mature and experienced innovation consultant who has a proven track record in providing insight on innovation, ideally with an understanding of the relationship between innovation, tax, and other forms of grants-based funding.

The Change is a multi-million business today that is aiming to develop a first-class team of which you would be part of.


Your role will be to develop new and existing client engagements and work on the ground to encourage clients to innovate and develop new ideas and skills.

You will be expected to support the training of emerging members of the team while also developing and leading your own projects with the clients that you account manage.

The Change has a unique set of processes that you will be expected to develop and honour.

We expect you to do a thorough technical and financial investigation of all projects and ensure the constancy of innovation and good practice from project inception to completion.


You may also cross train in other areas of service including SDG and the provision of guidance on sales, marketing and business development and manufacturing advice however these are optional based on your own background and field of expertise.


You will make annual visits to important high-value customers and support them across a wide range of requirements and projects.

You will be expected to supply an up-to-date innovation strategy to the customer and improve that on at least an annual basis, forming new projects and offering additional services as and when it is applicable to do so.

It's our goal to become the world's largest and most impactful Boutique/ specialised Innovation and Change Agency.


The Change offers a suite of diverse range of innovation services from Innovation Consultancy including tax credits and grant funding to Intellectual Property Development, and SDG and Net Zero Strategies through to engineering, marketing and branding for our customers.

By way of example some of our projects are due to make significant contributions to Germany and The UK's 2030 carbon reduction goals within the next 2 years.


Our role is to have an impact and we set impact driven carbon reduction improvement goals for our client base every year.


The Change now needs to develop into a scalable entity, and it will be your role to shepherd all aspects of the business towards success.


Job Purpose


The role of a Gold Consultant at The Change Innovation Services is to provide day to day leadership and guidance to customers and to enable colleagues to develop and grow.

We have a young diverse and vibrant team whom you will be part of shaping towards success. You will manage key accounts, travel for face-to-face visits as required and support operational delivery of projects.


Your role is to ensure your team grows into a well-rounded scalable and thriving business unit with the help and support of your senior colleagues.


As a Gold Consultant, your role will include establishing and delivering operational procedures which lead to the delivery of client business becoming more efficient and effective.


Duties and Responsibilities

Building a World-Leading Innovation Unit:


  • Drive the company vision to be a world leader in innovation services.
  • Ensuring commercial KPIs are hit
  • Lead your own clients and develop your practice
  • Develop your own skills and areas of specialty.
  • Upselling services from our company and its partners

Making a Positive Impact:


  • Set and enable your clients SDG related KPIs
  • Enable your clients to hit SDG related KPIs

Enhancing a Positive Culture:


  • Create a team culture that inspires other members of the team to constantly improve all aspects of their work.
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
  • Build and maintain effective and positive channels of communication with customers, suppliers, partners executives and your team.

Delivering a High-Quality Service to Clients:

  • Overall responsibility for project briefing and delivery.
  • Ensure that clients receive a highquality service through developing effective client strategies.
  • Set and ensure delivery on KPIs.
  • Take full responsibility for quality control and assurance of products, services and client engagement.
  • Carry out reviews identifying areas for improvement in individual projects and overall processes.
  • Work with staff and subcontractors to identify optimum processes and techniques.

  • Set and agree your targets with the operations manager, the sales team and financial teams to ensure that strategic commercia
