Description

Syncord Education are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'good' rated school in West Leeds to recruit an enthusiastic, dedicated classroom assistant to support teaching and learning in KS2.


This school is central to the local community and relishes the challenge of supporting all children and families to achieve their full potential.

The Teaching Assistant role involves supporting the teacher, working with individuals or groups of children and delivering intervention strategies.

You should have good behaviour management skills, have the ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff, be flexible and able to work on your own initiative.

To be successful in this role, experience working with children in a primary setting is essential.

SEND experience is desirable as there is a high level of need throughout the Key Stage.


Salary:
£75.00-£90.00 per day

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
