We have an exciting opportunity for a 1 st Line Business Operational Risk professional to support Macquarie Capital's Advisory, Capital Markets and Principal Finance businesses in EMEA.

Based in London, and reporting to the Global Business Operational Risk Management Lead for Advisory & Capital Markets, you will be responsible for supporting the European team in establishing, improving, and maintaining a robust governance and risk managementframework across several divisions including Corporate (M&A) Advisory, Credit Sales Trading, Debt and Equity Capital Markets and Principal Finance.

You will be responsible for facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders to confirm the Macquarie Capital Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) reflects the control environment of the Advisory, Capital Markets and Principal Finance businesses, and preparerisk reports and analysis to support management in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities.

You will provide critical support to the business in managing operational risks and control framework for UK and European regulated entities, including planning and identifying operational risks, designing and completing control assurance and policies.

Yourrole will require you to assess new product and business opportunities for operational risks, and work with deal teams to assess and oversee risk management frameworks at investment / project level to ensure that risks have been identified and are being managedand ensure appropriate remediation measures are implemented where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in a 1 st or 2 nd line of defence governance, risk management or internal audit role, ideally gained within the Capital Markets or Principal Finance sector.

You will be a pro-active,self-starter with a strong sense of accountability and pragmatism with the ability to collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to ensure risks are effectively identified, managed, and monitored.

Key to your success will be providing sound risk andcontrol advice and support to the business, while helping to promote risk awareness and understanding.

You will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills that will enable you to drive ownership and accountability for risk management as well as builddeep relationships with business, risk, compliance, and legal teams.
