Here at Envisics, we are an internationally based innovator in the automotive industry specialising in the development and supply of holographic technologies to Tier 1s and OEMs, with or our primary focus currently on augmented reality ("AR") Head-up displays ("HUDs').


Envisics' holographic platform, which leverages a combination of complex materials science and proprietary algorithms (640 patents issued or pending), enables unparalleled performance as it relates to optimising both OEM manufacturing requirements and the end user experience.

Additionally, the Company is developing a LiDAR product that leverages the same core platform.


We've already assembled some of the world's top scientists & engineers from worldwide renowned companies and due to the success and growth of our product development activities, Envisics is now looking to invest in more early talent through Graduate Programs and Industrial Placements.


Summary of Role
The role will include laboratory work, measuring performance of SLM Device characteristics, collecting and analysing data and presenting results to the design team


Key responsibilities

  • Use a range of measurement techniques to evaluate novel Holographic Spatial Light Modulators
  • Where necessary automate measurements to increase throughput and speed of data gathering.
  • Where necessary use computational modelling tools to further enhance understanding of device performance.
  • Interact with wider R&D teams to present the results of measurements or modelling activities.

Minimum requirements

  • Sound basic knowledge of optics, principles of diffraction and physics
  • Knowledge of Spatial Light Modulators (LCOS) would be useful but not essential
  • Experience of laboratory work, at undergraduate level or above. Specifically, Laser based optical experiments
  • Demonstrated ability to plan experiments, design and build test equipment, carry out measurements, record results and analyse data (programming skills useful but not essential)
  • Demonstrated good communications skills report writing, presentations, team working.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint desirable
