An opportunity for a Management Accountant has arisen in Fareham on a permanent basis for a 12m t/o organisation due to a recent restructure The successful Management Accountant will be offered a wide spread of benefits, including medical cover, dentalcover, competitive pension, etc.

The successful Management Accountant, will be working closely with the Financial Controller and overseeing one junior member, supporting key stakeholders in all aspects of financial, management and accounting.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

Preparation of management accounts
Prepare commentary and variance analysis to satisfy monthly, quarterly and annual forecast
Review operational performance and related Balance Sheet items
To support in the preparation of annual budget timetable, data and consolidation of reports
Preparation of financial reporting and analysis
Process improvement
Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures and provide guidance
Support with ERP implementation next year

What you will need:

Experience working in one of the following job roles: Management Accountant / Financial Accountant / Financial Analyst / Commercial Accountant / Business Partner
Strong Excel ability confident manipulating large data sets
ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualification preferential but not essential
