Description

Howdens Joinery are looking for a Maintenance Electrician based at Howdens Work Surfaces to provide breakdown, preventative maintenance cover and installation work throughout the site.


Pay rate:
Total salary package £41,229 + production bonus


Shift pattern: 3 week rotational shifts (12 hours)


The role:


  • Proactive and preventative maintenance
  • Reactive breakdown maintenance
  • Continual improvement projects
  • Ownership and development of specific production line maintenance
  • Supporting and engaging with lean manufacturing techniques to work effectively with PLC programmes

Key skills and experience required:


  • Fault finding, corrective actions and root cause analysis
  • Control and automation systems, including Siemens s7 PLC, Beckhoff PLC, Pilz Safety PLC and Mitsubishi PLC
  • Working with computerised maintenance management systems
  • Must be able to work under pressure especially when breakdowns arise and production levels are high
