REED Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a client based in Saltburn, who are looking to appoint a full-time and permanent Finance Assistant to join their close-knit team.


  • Offering a salary of £24,000 £28,000 per annum
  • Early finish Fridays

Role and responsibilities:

  • Accounts payable, banking and purchase to pay controls
  • Supporting month end management account prep and reporting tasks
  • Payroll preparation and processing, alongside absence documenting and reporting
  • Sales invoicing, and agent commissions
  • Cash book reconciliations.
  • Producing Trade Debtors, and monitoring credit control activities.
  • Obtaining Management Info for regular KPI analysis.
  • Accrual / Prepayment preparation
  • GRNI
  • Purchase Ledger Invoicing / Scanning
  • Petty Cash
  • Payroll
  • High Excel / Outlook Knowledge
  • Ad Hoc tasks relevant to the role
  • Strong Excel skills (familiar with Pivot Tables)
  • Experienced using Opera 3 (advantageous)
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Analytical and a real problemsolver
  • Forwardthinking who will share new ideas to develop the role
  • Proactive
