The John Lewis Partnership Account is a £100m revenue account, delivering a total FM solution to approximately 450 John Lewis and Waitrose stores and distribution centres nationwide, through a dedicated team of around 400 employees.

The role of the Business Intern will be to support the Account team to deliver a comprehensive operational and administrative service to the client and the contract.


Role Summary:


  • Compile data for reports to support the business and Client reporting governance cycle.
  • Provide data analysis and insight that supports targeted spend and maintenance activity across the Account.
  • Offer ideas and support the development of innovative tools that allow for an increase in performance efficiencies, e.g. engineering app.
  • Provide adhoc reporting as requested to support Operations.
  • Engage with customers to manage nonstandard works through to completion, engaging with CBRE Engineers and Vendors.
  • Support, where appropriate, with the raising and managing of purchase orders, tracking of cost changes, updating of the Appendix A (Commercial Contract).
  • Support our Operational teams with seasonal peak Client trading activity, e.g. 'ready for summer'; 'fit for peak'
  • Drive high quality commercial performance through understanding the contractual commitments, better buying and use of preferred suppliers.
  • Provide feedback and ideas for the continuous improvement of systems and processes which maximize efficiency benefits for the customer and GWS, including saving opportunities to ensure the customer and GWS financial savings targets are capitalized.

Education

  • Hold academic passes with at least GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
