Mitie has a great opportunity for a Team Leader to join an existing Mitie Technical Services contract, leading the Concierge team.

The role will be based with one of our prestigious customers. This is a permanent role reporting into the Soft Services Manager.


The Concierge represents a crucial interface with our customers and should demonstrate an understanding of the business and build relationships with all the key business personnel.

The core responsibility will be to ensure the Reception is managed to enable all the customers to perform their business activities in a safe and fully functioning environment.

Working with our customers, promoting and enhancing the workplace experience, delivering a safe and compliant working environment. To assist in the delivery of first class soft service experience through attentive, personalised service.


As Team Leader, this role will work extremely closely with the Soft Services Manager, and will be responsible for the day-to-day service implementation and adherence to expected service standards.


Main Duties

  • To Lead the Concierge Team, daytoday
  • To act as a first contact for all visitors, ensuring they are greeted and directed accordingly.
  • Ensuring the Reception environments are clean, tidy and present an "unused'' feel when entered by a visitor, so the visitor experience is the "First person to have been welcomed that day".
  • To act as a brand ambassador for the client
  • To support the security and FM teams with all planned and unplanned evacuations.
  • To ensure visitors to site receive the appropriate site induction regarding Health and Safety practices and fire exits.
  • To direct all first aid calls accordingly.
  • To ensure professional service is delivered to client.
  • To be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties to the highest standard.
  • To ensure exemplary standards in personal grooming, adhering to uniform standards at all times.
  • To develop excellent working relationships with on site customers.
  • To be visible and build relationships with all levels of user.
  • To be customer facing and customer service focused

What we are looking for

  • Previous management or supervisory experience of a small team
  • Experience of working in multi tasking environment
  • Able to communicate on all levels, excellent customer care skills
  • Previous experience of working in a similar service environment via a multiskilled workforce to blue chip organisations or within prestige environments with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • To enjoy working as part of a team.
  • To present a smart and courteous manner at all times.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Flexibility that is focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet customer demands.
