This is an exciting opportunity to join the Therapy & Rehabilitation Pathway's A&C Teams within the Clinical Support Division. We are looking to
recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual on a full time permanent basis.

Main duties of the job

As an eRoster Support Officer your role will be to work closely with and support the eRoster Training and Implementation Officer in the day to day
running and further development of the eRoster system, being first point of contact for any queries and assisting staff where possible, you will also
assist the Clinical Support Officers in providing a comprehensive administration service to the Therapy Service Managers.

You will require strong communication skills as this role entails liaising with a wide range of individuals across the pathway.

This post will require you to work in a very busy office environment and to provide full and efficient administrative support to the Therapy and
Rehabilitation Pathway eRoster Team and Therapy Service Managers. It is expected that you will have strong IT skills and be confident in
undertaking a range of computer based activities.

The Therapies & Rehabilitation Service eRoster Team is part of the Therapies and Rehabilitation Services directorate, which is one of the pathways that together make up the Clinical Support Division at NUH.

We are a diverse pathway of AHPs and support staff, employing over 700 staff who work together to deliver the high quality care we aspire to.

The Pathway is made up of our HCPC registered AHP professionals comprising of physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, orthotists, prosthetists and speech and language therapists, as well as our other staff encompassing professions such as nurses, psychologists, administrative and clerical and support workers

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To provide administrative support to the Therapy and Rehabilitation eRostering Implementation and Training Officer_ _and to resolve day-to-day issues independently

Provide general administrative support for the Therapy Service Managers

Acts as the first point of contact for enquiries from end users

Maintains the electronic systems library, databases and resources

Assists in planning and the monitoring of progress of tasks against specific timescales.

To be a member of the
Therapy and Rehabilitation eRostering team and attend meetings as required.

Review and action the local Therapy eroster support helpline/inbox, ensuring difficulties are reported to the team if further action required

Create reports on support/training issues for feedback to team. Use feedback/audit information to assist in developing teams training delivery

Work closely with external suppliers and identify areas for action.


Work with Team leaders / Therapy Services managers / Rostering Leads / and Staff to effectively support the system across clinical wards and departments.

Support training with training materials and resources

To book training and meeting rooms as required across both campuses.

Collate the training requirements of wards and departments

Training & Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • 5 GCSE A-C grades including English and Maths or equivalent experience
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or Data related qualification
Experience

Essential criteria

  • Knowledge of administrative procedures and duties, including specialised IT systems and project management, training knowledge and training or experience to diploma level equivalent
  • 2 Years experience using databases, Microsoft Office, Email and Intranet web forms
  • Previous IT experience supporting projects and operational IT systems
  • Working with wide variety and number of departments
  • Experience in developing and using spreadsheets and databases and the ability to extract and understand the information
Desirable criteria

  • Experience in working in specialised team
  • Knowledge of Eroster system
  • Experience of rostering processes
  • Knowledge of ESR system
  • Previous NHS Experience
