About the role


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Scheduling Team Leader to become an integral part of our dynamic Service Operations Department.

In this role, you will lead a team of skilled schedulers, while taking charge of optimizing the schedules for our field engineers and technicians.


As the
primary point of contact for both clients and engineers, you'll play a key role in resolving inquiries and identifying opportunities to streamline our scheduling processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daytoday scheduling activities for your team
  • Optimize scheduling routes and calendars to maximize productivity and response times.
  • Manage all scheduling changes, cancellations, and conflicts.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all client and engineer questions and complaints.
  • Monitor schedules and workloads to identify issues proactively.
  • Develop and implement training programs to elevate scheduling team skills.
  • Collaborate with engineering team leads on new hire onboarding and training.
  • Attend weekly department meetings and report on metrics and KPIs.
  • Motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Review timesheets, work orders, job assignments, and part orders.
  • Liaise with procurement team on equipment part purchases.
  • Communicate schedule changes and updates clearly to all stakeholders.

Key Qualifications and Skills:


  • 3+ years in a fastpaced scheduling or dispatch coordination role.
  • Outstanding client service skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Sharp attention to detail with strong organization skills.
  • Experience managing complex schedules and calendars.
  • Knowledge of field technician dispatch processes.
  • Ability to juggle multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Selfmotivated with an innovative approach to enhancing efficiencies.

Salary:

£30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
