Our client is a world-leading institution committed to providing an exceptional educational experience and fostering innovation.
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled User Researcher to join our team of 10 UX professionals for a 6-month contract.
Our team covers a range of expertise, including UX/UI, Service Design, and User Research, working collaboratively to enhance the overall user experience across the university's diverse portfolio.
Role Overview:
As a User Researcher, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our team to delve into the user experience of our diverse community of students, academics, and internal staff.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct user research that helps stakeholders gain deeper insights into the challenges and needs of our users.
You will work on a variety of projects across the university portfolio, contributing to the enhancement of our digital and physical touch points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research activities, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and other relevant methods.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define research goals, develop research plans, and present findings.
- Analyse and interpret research data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with UX/UI and Service Design professionals to ensure a cohesive and usercentric approach to projects.
- Engage with the university's diverse community to understand user behaviours, preferences, and pain points.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a User Researcher, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
- Proficiency in a variety of user research methods and tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present findings in a clear and compelling manner.
- Familiarity with UX/UI and Service Design principles.
- Experience working in an academic or similar complex organisational setting is a plus.
- Ideal experience in the higher education or public sector
- Experience in different types of methodology
