Property Management Surveyor - Grade G - I

About the role.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Management Surveyor to join our Property Services Team dealing with rent reviews, lettings and all other matters associated with the management of the Council's commercial property portfolio.


You will be required to have a good technical knowledge of commercial property management, together with good presentation and negotiation skills.

You will also need an understanding of land and property acquisition and disposal and valuation.

You should have good IT skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, be self motivated and comfortable handling a constantly challenging workload.

You must have
Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of property legislation and technical aspects
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work to deadlines and deal with varying workloads
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good IT skills
Experience

Proven experience of commercial property management

  • Property Reviews and Asset Management Planning
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams on property related projects

Qualifications:


  • Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or working towards
  • You will hold a current driving licence, have access to a car or means to mobility support
  • Degree or Masters qualification in a property related area.
