Job Title:
Bakery Operative - Lighter duty roles

Location:
Erith

Core responsibilities:

Operating the plant and process in a safe and compliant manner.
Completing documentation accurately and promptly.
Following instructions and procedures correctly.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in their immediate work area by adopting "Clean as You Go" philosophy.
Supporting the delivery of the site's KPI's for Safety, Quality, Service and Cost.
Being accountable for the production of high quality products that are safe.

Key skills:

Handling finished products, transferring into an infeed line and removing poor quality products to waste (Muffin & Roll Packing)
Handling packed finished products and transferring from the packing table into a basket (Muffin & Roll Packing)
Manually move the full finished product basket and stack together at 12 baskets high (Muffin Packing)
Accessing high level conveyors for basket release (Roll Packing)
Transferring unwrapped finished product from baskets to boxes (ISB Packing)
Using hand tools to tapeup the box once finished product has been transferred (ISB Packing)
Transferring sealed and labelled box from the packing table pallets (ISB Packing)
