Manager FP&A - Non-Distribution


Location:
UK-Peterborough

£50 - 60k DOE plus great benefits

Manager FP&A - Non Distribution

Location - Hybrid / Peterborough (1-2 days per week on site)

Support the business to make informed decisions through reporting on financial analysis and insight.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Group FP&A you will play a key role in the continuous improvement of Group planning and Board reporting
Comfortable working across multiple entities with diverse operations in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The role requires a hands-on approach with experience of developing Group models and liaising with exec teams across the group.


Responsibilities:


  • Critical eye on the FP&A outputs, both actuals and forecasts, adding additional market insight, both in terms of trends and reportable KPIs
  • Develop a deep understanding in the business areas that you hold responsibility for reporting on.
  • Partnering with business units for business planning and forecast modelling
  • Supporting the production of accurate balance sheet and cash forecasts to Treasury and Exec team
  • Assist with consolidation of Group forecasting and planning

Key Competencies, Skills and Knowledge

  • Stakeholders are managed effectively, and deadlines met sponsors updated on project progress, key risks and issues.
  • Proactively seeks process improvement
  • Provide timely and insightful reporting across Group Finance
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, you ensure collaboration across finance to ensure consistency in reporting and controls.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint skills and preferably Anaplan user experience.
  • Good interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications:


Required:


  • Qualified accountant with PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Previous experience in a Group/Complex Organisation FP&A Role
  • Commercially focused

Preferable:


  • Financial Services experience
  • FP&A tools, such as Anaplan, Vena, TM1, Datarails. Power BI
  • Balance Sheet and Cash Flow forecasting.
