Description
Orka Financial is working with a growing logistics business that is based in Slough Hybrid working, 4 days in office) to recruit a Management Accountant.

The purpose of this role is to work within the management accounting team to prepare & review the divisionaland entity level financial records.


Responsibilities:


  • Support the preparation of Group management accounts
  • Review of monthly management accounts for the division you are responsible for
  • Support Group Financial Controller & Finance Business Partners with monthly commentary on variances from budget and prior month / year performance
  • Preparations of balance sheet reconciliations, and follow up on any issues in a timely manner
  • Review of monthly KPI's and follow up of variances
  • Complete bank reconciliations across a range of currency accounts
  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts and recharges including loan account balances
  • Assist with the financial external audits as required
  • Assist the Finance Manager with statutory reporting, including the tracking and collation of nonfinancial information requirements
  • Preparation of the Monthly accounts submission to Group

Profile:


  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or Finalist
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • ERP savvy
  • Highly organised, dependable and accountable, with an attention to detail

Salary:

£40,000 - £47,000 + benefits
