Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent individual to join the Panelex Wood Agency Team.
The individual will be organized, detail oriented and will have experience in management and operations, preferably in the logistics and goods industry.
The Operations Administrator will be responsible for dealing with hauliers and overseeing the safe delivery of goods to customers predominantly in the South Wales area, the Midlands and the North of England.
The individual should have a hands on approach and can collaborate effectively to ensure that smooth of running of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Utilizing Sage Accounts 50 to process sales orders through to invoicing and updating customer ledgers. Producing delivery notes and picking lists.
Responsible for updating Sage with accurate stock and product information
Dealing with haulage in the South Wales area and Midlands and the North of England to include the use of platforms such as Return Loads and Palletline
Dealing with haulage between EU and non-EU countries into the UK
Use Microsoft Office products to produce progress sheets and create manual documents for internal office use
Excellent phone etiquette and customer to liaise with colleagues, customers, hauliers and suppliers
Experience:
- Previous experience in an operations role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with stock control and data entry
Note:
This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated accordingly.
Pay:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
