Business Development Manager

Basic £50,000 - £55,000 / OTE £90,000 - £120,000 + benefits + car allowance

Selling:
FinTech software into corporate clients

We are working with a leading global software company that supply FinTech solutions into Corporate Clients.

With a reputation for quality and industry leading solutions they have a phenomenal staff retention level where the average person stays with thebusiness over 12 years.

They are looking to grow their team by adding another Business Development Manager to sell into the corporate space.


You will be selling their Software Solutions which predominantly focus on financial software solutions, but you will have a broad portfolio of solutions to sell.

This a remote role where you will only be required to travel into the office once or twice aquarter.

The main goal will be to deliver against your monthly quota and also to service and cross-sell / up-sell to existing corporate customers in your territory.

This is predominantly a new business role where you will be support by a lead generation function.

You will need to have proven experience selling SaaS / Software / Technology into corporate clients.

Ideally you will have experience of selling into a broad range of verticals and experience with AOV of around £10k - £40k within a new business role.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Manager


  • Generate new sales prospects through proactive new business as well as working from leads provided through the marketing / SDR function.
  • Work closely with accounts once onboard to strategically facilitate a positive and productive longterm relationship.
  • Communicate with customers with regards to any account problems and discusses customer concerns and suggestions.
  • Focus efforts on product feedback, enhancement, upgrades, and development.
  • Travel to and attend conferences, events and customer meetings as required.

Key Requirements:
Business Development Manager


  • 3+ years' experience in Business Development, Field Sales or Account Management
  • Experience selling SaaS, Software Solutions, IT Solutions
  • Experience in FinTech / Financial Software is highly desirable
  • Experience selling in to a broad range of industries
  • Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services and the market, preferably with a reputation for providing a level of expert knowledge within your industry
  • Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills
  • Ability to plan own territory/account approach and manage own resources
