Description
DNA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Transport Planner for our client based in Manchester.

Our client operates a large fleet of vehicles operating within the Pallet Network.
Duties to include

  • Working with customers, suppliers and drivers, planning routes and scheduling
delivery times

  • Prioritise and coordinate workloads
  • Liaise with drives and customers in relation to any issues or delays with the
deliveries.

  • Working with the drivers in relation to infringements and offer training and
support in relation to any issues.

  • Liaising between managers and drivers, as well as collaborating with other
departments to ensure smooth delivery of transportation services.

  • Planning routes and preparing schedules, tracking and reporting progress with
orders.

  • Handling customer queries and if necessary escalating serious complaints to
management.

Working hours
Monday - Friday 05:00 - 14:30 plus some Saturday mornings.
