As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive accounting services to a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the highest standards of compliance and accuracy are met.

The role demands a proactive approach, with a focus on developing client relationships and contributing to the firm's growth through exceptional performance.

You will work closely with a team of professionals, leveraging your expertise to provide guidance, support junior staff, and drive efficiency within the department.

Responsibilities:


  • Preparation and review of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Management of client accounts, including tax compliance, VAT returns, and providing bespoke advisory services.
  • Leading audits, from planning to completion stage, ensuring they are conducted in line with professional standards.
  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to their professional development.
  • Ensuring uptodate knowledge of accounting and tax legislation to provide accurate advice to clients.

Requirements:


  • ACA/ACCA qualified or partqualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting and tax principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving and the ability to work under pressure.

£30,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
