Credit Controller (Temporary 6 months)

Role description
The mission of the Credit Controller (Temporary 6 months) is to look after the Sales Ledger function daily.

Ensure month end processes are performed timely and accurately, control debts, making sure overdue are collected within a timely manner, monitor credit limits and control credit risk (using Credit Safe).

Your main challenges

Managing cashbook, with accurate receipt allocation
Creation of new customer accounts using inhouse accounting software
Processing customer refunds and account reconciliations
Managing customer invoicing platforms selfbilling, consignment stock, etc
Liaising with other internal and external sales departments to ensure accuracy of customer accounts
External reporting, eg EU Sales, Intrastat
Manage debt collection using appropriate methods
Some responsibilities for South African subsidiary sales ledger
Assist with other duties within the team when required
Develop and maintain sales ledger department policies
Adhoc office duties

What we look for

Your education and experience_

Credit Control experience essential 3-5 years

Fluent in English(both verbal and written)

Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths._
