Page Personnel are supporting our client to recruit an Accounts Assistant to support their accountancy team based in Chester.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced dynamic team offering a high level of exposure to Management Accountants,perfectly suited to a studier or someone eager to embark on their studies.

They are a rapidly expanding business operating within the retail/ sales sector, they are looking to recruit a passionate Accounts Assistant to join theirteam and help build their brand based in Chester.


Description

Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include:

  • Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assisting with payment runs
  • Staff expenses
  • Dealing with petty cash
  • Credit control duties
  • Dealing with incoming calls
  • Building new and existing client relationships
  • Adhoc support within the accounts team where required

Profile

The successful accounts assistant will:

  • Have experience within a similar role
  • Proficient in excel including the use of vlook ups and pivot tables
  • Have used Sage 200 or similar accounting software
  • Insurance industry experience would be an advantage
  • Very flexible approach to work
  • Work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
