Description

The appointee will collaborate with enthusiastic and supportive colleagues across the region to enhance the comprehensive Consultant service for North Wales.

The post involves the treatment of severe and complex malocclusions to the highest standard. There is an emphasis on multi-disciplinary management including orthognathic surgery and collaboration with restorative dentistry. There are opportunities to provide local orthodontic care as part of the Regional Cleft Lip and Palate Network.

We have strong academic, teaching and training links with Liverpool Dental Hospital, Bangor and Edge Hill Universities, along with quarterly Mersey, Cheshire & North Wales regional audit and consultant group meetings.

North Wales is a beautiful area to live and work in.

It is home to three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and three UNESCO World Heritage Sites spread across the rugged mountains and stunning coastal scenery.

There are a wealth of sporting and cultural activities to enjoy. North Wales has many award winning theatres and restaurants including those with Michelin Star grading.

There are excellent road and rail links to the nearby cities of Chester, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham as well as London.

This post is for a fixed term period.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
