The Role:
- Provide strong leadership and direction for the Religious Education department, ensuring highquality teaching and outstanding student achievement across all levels.
- Develop a stimulating and engaging curriculum that fosters a love of learning for Religious Education and encourages critical thinking and ethical reflection.
- Motivate and inspire a dedicated team of teachers to deliver exceptional lessons and build a strong departmental culture.
- Oversee all aspects of the department, including resources, schemes of work, and assessment.
- Play a key role in the ongoing development of the school's religious ethos and spiritual wellbeing provision.
- A qualified and highly experienced Religious Education teacher with a proven track record of leadership success.
- The ability to develop and implement a creative and thoughtprovoking curriculum that aligns with examination boards (if applicable).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and support a team of teachers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
