We are currently seeking for a Pharmacy Counter Assistant who

To contribute to responsibility for the ordering and management of retail medicines and products within the Outpatient Pharmacy working collaboratively together with the other Pharmacy staff under the guidance of the pharmacy manager

Contribute to the identification of potential problems in the administration of medicines such as medicine interactions, newly prescribed drugs, physical factors that could affect patient compliance etc

Contribute to the development and maintenance of a high quality and timely outpatient service for patients.

Contribute to the safe and accurate issue of completed dispensed prescriptions to patients

Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines and on general health and lifestyle matters within own capability, referring to a pharmacist where necessary or in doubt

Receive and give out completed prescriptions under the guidance of the Responsible pharmacist, providing feedback to the pharmacist on information provided or requested by patients

Contribute to ensuring that retail products are stored in appropriate conditions
