Purpose of role:


As a Key Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Key Account Manager in monitoring the performance of all Green Energy Switch (GES) clients.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the satisfaction of our clients by consistently delivering exceptional service levels. You will actively manage client relationships, maintaining regular communication through virtual and occasional face-to-face meetings with selected clients.

Your duties also involve ensuring clients comply with GES requirements and meet performance expectations.

Any identified issues or concerns will be promptly reported to the Key Account Manager for resolution, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.

£28,000


Hours/Week:37 hours (Part time hours may be considered) - currently 1 day expected in the office per week (after full training)


Work outside normal hours:
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required

Line Management Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:


  • Manage a portfolio of selected Void Management clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are consistently met.
  • Conduct regular monthly or bi-monthly virtual meetings with each selected client, with occasional face-to-face meetings as required.
  • Solicit and capture positive feedback from clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction with our services.
  • Monitor and ensure that all clients meet their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including the number of voids added, reads added, data accuracy, and timely bill payments.
  • Assist the Key Account Manager in the onboarding and training of new clients to ensure a smooth transition and effective utilisation of our services.
  • Cultivate and nurture partnerships and relationships with clients and key stakeholders to foster long-term collaboration and growth opportunities.
  • Generate and provide comprehensive weekly reports to the Key Account Manager, detailing client performance and progress against objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client performance data, ensuring accessibility for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Actively communicate any client issues or escalations to the Key Account Manager, and proactively manage escalations to resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Key Account Manager to ensure clients have access to relevant reports and statistics, and contribute to the development of the GES portal for enhanced visibility and accessibility of performance metrics.
  • Achieve individual and team objectives and targets set by the Key Account Manager and the wider organisation.
  • Perform daily tasks as assigned, ensuring efficient and effective execution of responsibilities.
  • Fulfill any additional requests or tasks as assigned by the Key Account Manager, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to support team objectives.

Person Specification:

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum one year's experience in Key Account Management
  • Experience of working in the energy sector
    Preferable:
  • Experience in meeting challenging targets.
  • Confident communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in developing effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to meet and exceed challenging targets within set timescales.
  • Creative thinker
  • Willingness to use sustainable transport for work wherever possible.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office.
  • Level three qualification in a relevant sector
    Preferable
