The position is a Portfolio Specialist located in London, UK which is involved in NNC's global client service and distribution function.

The position will support investor relations on new and existing products, managing relationships with the Nuveen distribution teams and Nuveen product specialists to execute sales plans while working closely with the NNC client service and distribution team.

The position will report directly to NNC's Head of Client Service and Distribution and may require extensive travel.

Responsibilities:

Work with Nuveen distribution, product specialists, product and client relationship teams in EMEA and APAC to develop sales plans and messaging, and track investor feedback/interactions.
Present in a variety of client settings on a comprehensive representation of NNC's philosophy, investment strategy, performance/attribution, products and broader market thinking.
Educate and lead training sessions for Nuveen distribution on NNC strategies.
Travel for client meetings/presentations in support of the distribution channel and client demands as required by the business. This will include private wealth, family offices and institutional clients, mainly in EMEA but also APAC.
Lead the development of investment presentations and written pieces including performance updates, market commentaries and indepth responses to client enquiries.
Work with the Portfolio Client Project Manager to review and complete prospect and client RFPs or DDQs.
Coordinate client due diligence meetings and asset site tours.
Support the positioning of investment strategies with timely analysis and competitive insights working closely with the broader Portfolio Management Team
Help maintain regular updates of NNC's marketing materials
Develop relationships with Nuveen distribution, product, marketing and client services as well as internal NNC relationships with business unit CEOs and the broader Portfolio Management Team
Maintain complete documentation for all product related activities and ensure they are saved in central files
Provide a progress log of prospect/client activity and feedback
Support the broader product specialist initiatives at NNC when required
Support broader Portfolio Management Team initiatives when required

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree
710 years of experience as a product specialist or in institutional distribution
Knowledge of real asset and/or private fund products (agricultural and timberland experience/knowledge would be advantageous but not essential)
Ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences with varying degrees of investment experience
Knowledge of economic and market issues (CFA or CAIA would be advantageous but not essential)
Experience presenting to a range of audiences
Strong interpersonal/relationshipbuilding skills
Ability to work productively as a member of a team
Display strong initiative
