Description

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cancer Pathway and MDT Coordinator to join our Cancer Services team.

Cancer Services is part of the Corporate Division within the Trust.

A vacancy currently exists in the Department for a Cancer Pathway and MDT Coordinator.

The main duties include facilitating the development of robust data collection and validation systems, data entry, tracking patients through their pathways and supporting the effective administration of cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an established service that supports the Trust's cancer teams.

We use the Infoflex information systems to collect real-time data at regular MDT meetings and throughout the patients' referral, diagnostic and treatment pathways.

The data aids the clinical management of the patients and informs progress against national cancer waiting times targets.

Applicants must possess a sound basic education to GCSE level or equivalent with evidence to demonstrate the following:


  • Ability to work within a team framework Accurate data entry skills Good organisational and administration skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times Knowledge of clinical audit A desire to increase personal skills.
