The vacancy


The principal aim of the Marketing Officer role is to support the Marketing team to raise the profile of North Lindsey College, University Campus North Lincolnshire and HESTA (Humber Energy Skills Training Academy), ensuring all marketing activities maintain and improve recruitment to the organisation and engagement within the broader stakeholder community.


This will be done by developing, delivering and supporting the delivery of all marketing activities including events, printed materials, social media, digital advertising, press releases, direct mail, and public relations.

This is a key role within the Marketing team, as it looks to deliver high quality marketing campaigns, both digital and offline, to promote the diverse range of services offered at DN Colleges Group


What you'll be doing

  • Contribute to the College marketing planning, implementation and review cycle
  • Create marketing campaigns and work with internal or external individuals and departments to implement and review within agreed timescales
  • Build strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders, working closely with the wider Marketing team to develop and maintain links with schools, the media, prospective students, current students, staff and our external audience
  • Create and develop new and innovative ways to communicate the College USP's to all stakeholders
  • Plan, support, deliver and evaluate specific events across the academic year such as open days and student awards
  • Monitor and manage our social media accounts, engage with followers and respond to queries and comments
  • Create regular and engaging content for all social media platforms
  • Set up varied digital campaigns to target different audiences dependent on objectives
  • Plan, write and place features, articles and letters to editors by producing news releases
  • Build strong and effective relationships with other organisations and individuals to benefit the organisations marketing priorities
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate all marketing activity and implement adaptions where required for future campaigns
  • Support and work closely with the wider Marketing team on day to day activities

You must have
You will have proven experience within marketing, and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will be highly organised and have the ability to complete work within challenging deadlines.

Ideally you will have experience of digital advertising and content creation for social media platforms. You must be willing to work flexibly where required.
