EMEA Tax Manager, Financial Services

City of London - hybrid working model

£80,000 + bonuses & benefits

A US-headed and globally recognised financial services business will be hiring a recently qualified tax professional to join their large and established tax team in London.

Specific responsibilities will include:

Endtoend responsibility for European and UK entities, acting as the primary point of contact within these jurisdictions
Managing and supporting with the tax reporting process (working under US and local GAAPs) and tax provisions
Managing and supporting with UK and EMEA tax compliance obligations
Managing relationships with outsourced tax advisors and tax authorities
Supporting wider tax and finance stakeholders with international tax projects

We anticipate this opportunity will best suit the recently qualified tax professional looking to make their first move in-house.

This position offers the opportunity to manage end to end compliance processes in a highly reputable financial services business,prior to taking on an increasing advisory focus.

ACA/CTA qualification
Strong tax accounting experience (working with both current and deferred taxes)
Financial services experience is required
Experienced in working with multinational businesses either inhouse or as an advisor coming from the Big 4/Top 10 professional services firm
Conceptual understanding/experience with wider taxes considered advantageous
European language skills considered a bonus
