Role Responsibilities:


  • Provide onetoone and group support to students with SEMH needs in classroom settings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans tailored to each student's requirements.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour management and emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Support students in developing strategies to better manage their behaviour, emotions, and mental health.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children or young people with autism is desirable.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting the wellbeing and development of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
