Learning Advisor - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

This is a site-based role at Worthing.


We have a great opportunity for a Learning Advisor to join our team on a 12 month contract based at Worthing.

A diverse and varied role supporting the day-to-day learning and development needs of site as well as being a key point of contact for learners requiring advice and support.


This role will have a critical interface to the global service for training provision and there will be a strong requirement for collaborative working and adherence to global standard operating procedures and practices defined within these fields.

The day-to-day role will play a key part in the design, delivery and execution of compliance training activities for the site business functions they are supporting and will need to engage positively and effectively with these teams.

In this role you will:

  • Provide support to site learners and managers locally to support their understanding of learning requirements, learning management practices or learning systems.
  • Support GLMS administration to support locally designated activities, including reporting, learning assignment, scheduling, recording.
  • Lead on discrete projects at a local level (e.g. learning programmes, continuous improvement).
  • Monitor and report training activity against agreed measures and KPIs. Evaluate key learnings and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use problem solving techniques to resolve any training issues and communicate progress to the Quality Systems Team Manager, L&D and other relevant stakeholders as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Educated to A-Level qualification level and/or previous experience within Learning & Development.
  • Understanding of GMP and EHS procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Sound knowledge of the training cycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and customer focused experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with good problem solving ability.
Preferred

Qualifications & Skills:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience working within a compliance driven GMP environment.
  • Previous experience working in learning training administration function.
  • A working knowledge of site systems.
