We're looking for Development Administrators to support the team.

The role will involve providing effective administrative support to the regional Development Team to contribute towards the success of the team's purpose, to deliver new homes into the business.


What will the role entail?

  • Acting as a first point of contact for team related enquiries. Liaising directly with all internal and external customers to solve problems using standard procedures in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
  • Creating and maintaining accurate files ensuring that all documents are filed correctly and in a timely manner so that other team members, stakeholders and auditors can access documents as required
  • Monitoring schemes files and identify documents that are yet to be provided and follow these up with other team members and partners.
  • Ensuring accurate processing of electronic purchase orders, requisitions and payments and resolve queries as necessary to ensure payment is made in line with contract terms and our Financial Regulations.
  • Maintaining a database of key contacts which can be accessed by all team members and update the contact information as necessary
  • Using a variety of software packages produce minutes, reports, spreadsheets presentations and any other documents as required using standard corporate formats and templates to a high standard of accuracy and speed
  • Arranging and coordinate meetings and any corporate / PR events for the team to include arranging times, booking venues, sending invites, arranging refreshments
  • Liaising with the Health and Safety team to ensure existing and new members of the Development Team have adequate PPE, office equipment and training to ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation

Knowledge, skills and key criteria

  • A logical and organised approach to your workload, effectively prioritising tasks and managing these to deadlines
  • Be a confident user of IT, including Outlook, MS Word and MS Teams
  • Previous experience providing administrative support
  • Experience developing effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors
  • Knowledge of the housing or property sector is desirable
